Getting To Grips With A Healthy Lifestyle

Filed Under (Healthy Body & Mind) by bearichie on 08-11-2009

aromatherapieIn a perfect world we would all be eating the right food, exercising, sleeping well and just generally enjoying life.

In the real world most of us manage a percentage of the healthy lifestyle and muddle through as best we can with the rest of it. Part of the problem is we are encouraged to think, mostly by the media, that we should be doing everything possible towards a healthy lifestyle, all of the time.

For most of us this is just not possible. Constant concern about what we should or shouldn’t be doing causes our stress levels to go up and that negates any good work that we’ve done. Yes, we should certainly try for a healthy lifestyle, but the two key words are “moderation” and “balance”.

Badgley Mischka

The Label

Badgley Mischka started in 1988 when a pair of Parsons students decided to launch a company together rather than compete with each other. Mark Badgley and James Mischka’s refreshing, light take on glamour breathed new life into the often stale and fusty realm of eveningwear.

Despite the occasional business bump (they were acquired and then sold by Escada and have taken occasional budget-mandated breaks from runway shows), the label quickly acquired a loyal fan base among women—from New York to Washington D.C. to Hollywood—who regularly require black-tie dressing. Their bridal business, launched in 1993, is a mainstay for that sector; other branded products include fragrance, handbags, shoes, and eyewear. The designers plan to add bits of sportswear to their lineup starting in spring 2007.

“Enlightenment” Your 7 days program to Positive thinking

We all have this favorite expression when it comes to being stressed out, and I wouldn’t bother naming all of them since it may also vary in different languages. But when it comes down to it, I think that it is how we work or even relax, for that matter that triggers stress. Ever been stressed even when you’re well relaxed and bored? I know I have.

Choosing a facial skin care product

Filed Under (Beauty and The Best) by bearichie on 12-09-2009

Talking about skin care, ‘facial skin care’ seems to top the chart.

There are loads of facial skin care products available in the market. The most common facial skin care products are the ones that are used as part of daily routine.

These include things like cleansers and moisturizers. Toners and exfoliation ones are well known too but not many people use them as such.

A celebrity style handbag and price

db4She steps down from the mezzanine. Mild sunny rays in early morning were enlightening her fair skin from dark blue suits. Her hands carried dark brown laptop, synchronized the lyrics of morning greetings. I replied “good morning” to my beloved daughter “Sana’a”. But her charm was vanished suddenly with a remark from my wife. “You will carry both laptop and your purse simultaneously? Don’t you have a good big purse that can hold both?” her fainted lips shuts closely and then peacefully replied “mama recession hits my expenses I can’t spent $2795 for Chanel Chain Strap Handbag”.

Are You A Gourmet

What exactly does it mean to be a gourmet?

Does watching public television cooking shows on Saturday morning while folding the laundry count?

How about being fascinated with Julia Child and having all of her cookbooks on your Amazon wish list?

Knowing what zest, garam marsala and charcuterie mean, does this qualify you as being a gourmet? Where did the term come from and what exactly does it mean?

Happy as You Want to Be

Happy as You Want to Be

Almost everyone have heard the hit single ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ by Bobby McFerrin. The song has a very catchy way of conveying its message of being happy to everyone. Bobby Mcferiin’s simple message surely made a lot of people by telling them not to worry. Living a happy, resilient and optimistic life is wonderful, and is also good for your health.

Being happy actually protects you from the stresses of life. Stress is linked to top causes of death such as heart disease, cancer and stroke. One of the better things ever said is – ‘The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change’, and in our life we have the power to make the necessary changes if we want to. Even if we find ourselves in an unbearable situation we can always find solace in the knowledge that it too would change. Social networks or relationships are essential to happiness.
